Chef Eric and his Online Culinary School have been involved with several charitable organizations since opening the Culinary Classroom in 2003. Through his work with CoachArt, he has donated close to 50 scholarships for the Children’s Summer Culinary Academies. CoachArt is an organization that provides lessons in the arts and athletics to children with chronic or life-threatening illnesses and their siblings. Since 2005, Chef Eric’s Culinary Classroom has donated scholarships for Master Baking and Master Chef Programs to high school students through C-CAP. Chef Eric has also served on the C-CAP  judging panel and provided guidance and mentorship to many deserving students. C-CAP, which stands for Careers through Culinary Arts Program, strives to provide career options for underprivileged youth who have an interest in the culinary industry. Ryan Seacrest’s yearly Summer Bucket List contest with KIIS FM gives families the chance to make the the most of their summer vacation. In 2014, Chef Eric donated a scholarship for a Children’s Culinary Academy to a deserving young student who dreams of one day becoming a chef. 

CBS Let’s Make A DealLet's Make a Deal Chef Eric's Culinary Classroom

Together with his work with notable charities, Chef Eric has donated several Master Chef and Master Baking scholarships to CBS’s long-running show, Let’s Make A Deal. These prizes allow the winners to not only take part in Chef Eric’s 18 Week Master Chef Program and 10 Week Master Baking Program but also consider new career opportunities. Previous Let’s Make a Deal winners of the scholarship have even gone on to pursue careers in the culinary industry.

Since opening the Culinary Classroom in 2003, Chef Eric has donated thousands of dollars worth of cooking classes and scholarships to a wide variety of charities and local area schools. For the foreseeable future, these are the organizations that he chooses to focus on.
