Why It’s Important For Couples to Cook Together
I’m a huge proponent of couples cooking together. Many of my married or engaged students have separate careers than their other half and have found that cooking is a good way for them to reconnect and catch up in a fun environment.
When you cook together as a couple, you are strengthening your bonds and are facilitating communication. You’re also having fun, which is the most important part of the equation.
Cooking is a satisfying act. It’s a great accomplishment to take raw food and to creatively cook it into a delicious meal. It’s good to accomplish something with your significant other, because you’ll feel closer to them, and you’ll be able to revel in the fact that you accomplished something together.
If you’re interested in cooking with your significant other, sign up for one of my couple’s cooking classes! You and your sweetie will prepare a meal together at one of our couple’s cooking stations in the back with Chef Eric’s help. After you’re done cooking, you will get to enjoy the meal at a nicely decorated candlelit table with some nice wine.
